November 4-9,2015  HOPE co-sponsored the ACISTE 3rd Annual Conference for Professionals on the Therapeutic Issues of Spiritually Transformative Experiences in Dallas, Texas.   Go to www.aciste.org  for conference information.

ACISTE provides education and certificate training for mental health professionals, pastoral counselors, spiritual counselors and other professionals who wish to increase their competency and develop their expertise in working with clients who may have psychological, spiritual or mental health challenges related to their spiritually transformative experiences (or STEs).

The conference brings together top researchers, experiencers and practicing professionals to present their expertise and insight into this growing field of specialization and awareness.

  • What are some possible explanations for these experiences?

HOPE hosted its FIRST ANNUAL LUBBOCK MUSIC AND ART GALA FUNDR, 2014 AISER at the TORNADO GALLERY 1822 Buddy Holly Ave, Lubbock, TX 79401 (806) 687-1644 on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4th

Local musician TINA TURNER performed and MC-ed for a host of local musicians such as CURTIS PEOPLES and HEATHER HEDGES, Tina Turner MC-ed and performed ZOE CARTER, COREY KILLOUGH, TOMMY JOE FISHER, LORI SEALY, and JOE COTTON CASNTER.

The local artists that donated art for the silent auction were RENEE STEGER SIMPSON, DEBORAH MILOSOVICH, JOHNANNE REYNOLDS, ERIN COATS, LORA HUNT, ANGIE HEATH, HEATHER HEDGE, and MAE WERTZ.

The silent auction also had TWO SIGNED GUITARS, one from BILLY JOE SHAVER, and one from JOE ELY AND THE FLATLANDERS along with JEWELRY from ADORNMENTS STUDIO, services from DANNY NEAL, and other fun items.
